Hey, I’m 은상.

It’s pronounced Eun-Sang, which means sharing grace.

But feel free to call me Mike.

I’m going to die on this planet, so I’ve decided to do it as a writer.

Sounds pretty intense, right? Don’t worry.

I’m also just a chill guy who values humility, kindness, and laughter. I love drawing funky lines on my 9’ Murphy Shapes surfboard, clinging desperately to a crimp to clip a quickdraw, and sweating profusely in a heated room full of other yogis.

Dear Education,

For five years, I had the privilege of teaching Humanities to over 500 Gen Z 10th graders. It felt like crafting and presenting ads every day. I borrowed from the world of advertising, using testimonials, guarantees, and demonstrations to make lessons stick. Whether it was The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, or The Simple Path to Wealth by J.L. Collins, each book required punchy headlines, thought-provoking hooks, and copy that wasn’t just informative, but transformative—words that inspired students to dream big. Teaching was all about emotion: capturing it, feeding it, and using it to spark action and get results.
